Delayed Posts

Hello, everyone! I know that I still need to tell you about my experiences at Exeter. I promisse I will do it shortly. Life has never been so hectic. I have been doing a lot since I left the United States in August 2011.

I have got some letters from Exeter lately, including my grades ( I will specifically write about it in the future). I am definitely proud of this new accomplishment. Now, it's time to look for new opportunities. If you want something in life, you need to struggle for it, and this is what I have been doing. Struggle is food for thought, after all.

I am almost graduating from high school, and since I am the class leader, I have got some duties to set everything for our graduation ceremony. Surely, I will miss my peers, the faculty, the environment where I took important steps to get where I am today. I am getting through a new life transition. I decided to give my best one more time to take the most out of it. Besides working at GACC (Supporting Group to Children with Cancer), I was recently selected among the students from IFRN to be the English school tutor. I cannot forget to mention that I am  also advising two 2012 brazilian Youth Ambassadors while they are organizing everything to travel to the U.S next year. By the way, it's so fortunate that the Embassy of the United States had selected 45 young leaders to enroll this program instead of thirty five. I am completely sure that they will do a great job in the United States.

In addition to working in those projects, I joined a group called "U.S Explorers." Today I play the role of the vice-president. This group was formed by State Alumni students whose desire is establish and strenghthen the ties of friendship between Brazil and United States. We have promoted cultural events on IFRN campus in order to expand the students' world perspectives. I like to see that my peers enjoy our project greatly.

So far we have promoted three events. I am going to post some links so that you can see part of our activities.

I hope you had enjoyed seeing the photos and videos. As I have said, I will get back to you soon. Thanks for being patient!
